Harbor Wildlife Control provides the following services:
Trapping, Removal and Damage Repairs

Sometimes referred to as "Masked Bandits," raccoons can cause a great deal of property damage to homes and gardens.

Common raccoon damage consists of:
  • Lawn and garden damage
  • Damage to the exterior of homes
  • Contamination of attics and crawlspaces
  • Contamination of spas, pools and fountains
  • Destruction of ornamental ponds and fish
  • Invasion of homes through pet doors
  • Killing of poultry and other small animals
  • Invasion of chimneys to raise young
  • Foraging through garbage cans and dumpsters
Droppings from a raccoon are infested with this roundworm and actually considered a biohazard. Coming in contact with infested droppings or breathing in the dried roundworm eggs poses a serious health risk for both people and pets.

Harbor Wildlife Control can trap, remove and control problem raccoons for you in rural, urban and suburban settings. We remove nuisance raccoons from chimneys, attics, crawlspaces, walls and wherever they happen to be causing problems.

Harbor Wildlife Control can also help you to keep raccoons out of your home before they arrive or after they have been removed. Entry points and potential entry points are sealed with stout materials to prevent return visits from unwanted raccoons. We love our clients, but we would prefer to see you under better circumstances after the raccoon removal and exclusion work has been performed!

Harbor Wildlife Control is your local, honest and dependable choice for professional raccoon removal and control.
We have heard "How do I get rid of these raccoons!" hundreds of times, so please do not hesitate giving us a ring for any of your raccoon control needs.

Our Wildlife Control Process

Unlike other wildlife control specialists in Maine, when you choose Harbor Wildlife, you’ll work with a team of experienced professionals that leverage the latest advancements in Integrated Pest Management and cutting-edge technology. Our process for wildlife removal and control includes:

Step One: Determine Point(s) Of Entry

Finding out how wildlife are getting in is our first priority. Your technician will evaluate your home and property to determine point of entry. For bats in the attic, a small hole in the roof or gaps in the attic vent are all these pests need to slip in. For larger animals such as racoons, areas around soffits, dormers and under eaves are common entry points.

Step Two: Implement Removal & Control Plan

Once we know how these pests are getting in, we’ll design a plan of action. Our wildlife control methods include live trapping, relocation, exclusion, and habitat modification.

Step Three: Clean-up

Unfortunately, wildlife have no regard for you property and will use it as their shelter, and their bathroom. Animal feces and urine have the potential to be dangerous and should only be cleaned up by professionals. After the wildlife problem has been removed, your technician will assist with the waste clean-up.

Step Four: Post Removal Repairs

We will install chimney caps, dryer vent covers, and seal areas that wildlife use to access your property. If the damage caused by wildlife is beyond our capabilities, we’ll let you know what needs to be fixed by a contractor, even documenting with pictures.
